Shoremen Blanked by Hopkins
Miller Makes 10 Saves in Loss

BALTIMORE, MD -- The Washington College men's soccer team suffered a 7-0 loss at host Johns Hopkins this evening in Centennial Conference action in Baltimore. The Shoremen fell to 6-4-1 overall and 2-2 in league play with the loss, while the Blue Jays improved to 9-2 and 5-0.

Daniel Brienza led the way for Hopkins with two goals and two assists. Chad Tarabolous added two goals, while Adam Simon, Ben Schwartz, and Adam Hack each scored one goal. The Blue Jays led 2-0 late in the first half before a pair of late goals put them up 4-0 at the break.

WC sophomore goalkeeper Ryan Miller (Bel Air, MD/Fallston) made ten saves in the loss. Hopkins held a 22-2 advantage in shots and a 12-2 advantage in corner kicks.

The Shoremen return to action Saturday with a 12:00 p.m. conference home game against Muhlenberg.
