Shoremen Fall to Catholic in OT
Dudick Scores Fourth Goal in Three Games

WASHINGTON, DC -- The Washington College men's soccer team slipped to 5-3-1 overall this season with a 2-1 overtime loss at Catholic University this afternoon. Sophomore forward David Dudick (Hudson, OH/Western Reserve Academy) scored his fourth goal in the last three games for the Shoremen.

Dudick's goal came just 1:59 into the contest when he headed in a cross from senior back Steve Yurchak (Franklinville, NJ/Delsea Regional). The Shoremen maintained the 1-0 lead until the 71:43 mark when Cameron Bassiri tied the game for the Cardinals (3-4) off an assist from Michael Corrigan.

Corrigan assisted on the game-winner as well, which occurred just 82 seconds into the first overtime, at 91:22, when Pat Hennessy flicked in a shot.

The Shoremen return to action next Saturday with a 2:30 p.m. Centennial Conference home game against Ursinus.
