Dudick's Heroics Best Cabrini
Forward's Two Goals Include Game-Winner

RADNOR, PA -- Washington College sophomore forward David Dudick (Hudson, OH/Western Reserve Academy) scored two goals, including the game winner, and picked up an assist on the game-tying goal to lead the Shoremen to a 4-3 victory at Cabrini this afternoon. The Shoremen improved to 4-2-1 with the win, while the Cavaliers slipped to 2-6.

The game remained scoreless until the 60th minute when Dudick knocked in a goal to give WC a 1-0 lead. Cabrini's Nicolas Fenton tied things up in the 63rd minute. Washington senior back Sean Mulcahy (Baltimore, MD/Archbishop Curley) put the Shoremen back in front with a goal off an assist from senior forward T.J. Velykis (Franklinville, NJ/Delsea Regional) in the 65th minute, but Fenton evened things up again 41 seconds later off an assist from Michael Rennie.

The Cavaliers took their first and only lead of the game in the 73rd minute on a goal by Michael O'Reilly. The Shoremen knotted things up at 3-3 at the 80:56 mark when Dudick fed junior forward/midfielder Geoff Foltyn (Baltimore, MD/Calvert Hall) for a score. Dudick's game-winner came at 84:25 and came off of Velykis's second assist of the game.

WC sophomore goalkeeper Ryan Miller (Bel Air, MD/Fallston) made 10 saves to help offset a 20-13 advantage in shots and a 7-4 edge in cornerkicks for Cabrini.

The Shoremen return to Centennial Conference play Saturday with a 1:00 p.m. home game against Franklin & Marshall.
