WC Falls in Shore Rivalry Game

SALISBURY, MD -- The Washington College men's soccer team fell 5-0 this afternoon to Eastern Shore rival Salisbury University. The Shoremen fell to 1-4-1 with the loss, while the Sea Gulls improved to 5-1. Washington's next game is Saturday - a 1:00 p.m. Centennial Conference showdown at Franklin & Marshall.

Junior forward C.R. Krauss (Bivalve, MD/James M. Bennett) scored Salisbury's first two goals. Sophomore forward John Muto (Hagerstown, MD/North Hagerstown) and junior forward Matt Bowman (Hagerstown, MD/Williamsport) each added one goal and one assist.

The Sea Gulls held a 36-8 advantage in shots on goal and a 12-3 edge in corner kicks.

Junior midfielder T.J. Velykis (Franklinville, NJ/Delsea Regional) tallied a team-high two shots on goal for Washington
