WC Co-Captain Finishes 5th
at Mid-Atlantic Erg Sprints

ALEXANDRIA, VA -- Washington College senior Hugh McAdam (Hollis, NH/Worcester Academy), co-captain of the Shoremen's rowing team, finished fifth of 29 rowers in the Open Lightweight event at the Mid-Atlantic Erg Sprints on February 2nd. His time of 6:41.9 was a personal best erg time.

The Mid-Atlantic Erg Sprints, which was held at T.C. Williams High School, is the largest indoor regatta in the Mid-Atlantic. McAdam was the only WC rower to compete at the event. Only two collegiate rowers, both from the University of Virginia, finished ahead of McAdam.
