WC Varsity Four Seventh at ECAC's
Shoremen Win Petite Final

WORCESTER, MA -- The Washington College men's rowing team raced a boat in the varsity four at this weekend's ECAC National Invitational Collegiate regatta in Worcester, MA. The Shoremen finished seventh overall and first in the petite final after placing third in their heat.

Washington's third-place heat finish came in 7:18.629. Mercyhurst won the heat in 7:04.852, while Amherst was second in 7:12.175. New Hampshire was fourth in 7:34.369, while WPI finished fifth in 7:24.583.

In the petite final, the Shoremen won the race by less than a full second, finishing in 7:03.252 to edge out Marist, which finished second in 7:04.239. Union was third (7:07.491), while Clark was fourth (7:07.809), Colgate was fifth (7:17.409), and New Hampshire was sixth (7:18.546).
