The rowing facilities at Washington College
are some of the best available to student-athletes at a small college. The Truslow Boathouse is located on the scenic
Chester River and is a mile from campus. The boathouse is home to the
crew's flotilla of contemporary, elite hulled shells, an eight-seat
rowing tank, and a plethora of Concept II ergometers. Home races are
held on the six-lane, surveyed 2000-meter course. The Benjamin A. Johnson Lifetime Fitness Center, on the main campus, houses state of the art training equipment including a full weight room and a variety of cardiovascular machines. There is also an indoor track and indoor tennis, racquetball, squash, and basketball courts. |
