WC Fours Advance to Dad Vail Semifinals
Varsity, Novice Fours Lead Shoremen at Regatta

The Washington College men's rowing team closed out its 2008-09 season at the prestigious Dad Vail Regatta held in Philadelphia yesterday and today. The Shoremen advanced to the semifinals in both the varsity heavyweight four and the frosh/novice four.

Two Shoremen Named All-Conference
Leekley Named Coach of the Year;
Three Land on MARC Academic Honor Roll

Washington College sophomore Michael Zaborskiy (Novosibirsk City, Russia/American School of Bangkok) and junior Springer Harris (Huntingtown, MD/Northern) have been named to the inaugural All Mid-Atlantic Rowing Conference (MARC) men's team. In addition, Washington College head coach John Leekley has been named the MARC's Men's Coach of te Year. Zaborskiy and Harris also join sophomore Will Herland (Seattle, WA/Lakeside School) on the conference's inaugural Academic Honor Roll.
