2008 LANCASTER, PA -- Washington College junior attackman Jimmy Kielek (Baltimore, MD/Archbishop Curley) has been named the Centennial Conference Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week ending April 20th. Kielek played a major part in the Shoremen's rally from a three-goal deficit in the fourth quarter of Saturday's 12-11 win against Franklin & Marshall. Kielek tallied a pair of goals and assisted on four others in Saturday's win. He assisted on the 10th and 11th goals and scored the game-winner with 1:15 remaining on the clock. This marks the second time Kielek has earned Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors this season after previously being recognized for the week ending March 23rd. This is the fifth time overall that a Washington player has earned Centennial Conference Player of the Week honors this season. |
