Read Named CC Offensive Player of the Week
Senior Tallied Nine Goals, Assist in 2-0 Week

LANCASTER, PA -- Washington College senior attackman Chris Read (Baltimore, MD/Boys Latin) has been named the Centennial Conference Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending April 13th. Read scored nine goals and assisted on another in a 2-0 week for the Shoremen.

Read scored six goals and had one assist in a 13-6 win over Swarthmore Wednesday. Four of those goals came in a span of 4:13 in the third quarter. He then netted three more goals in a 12-8 victory at Dickinson on Saturday.

This marks the second time Read has earned Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors this season after previously being recognized for the week ending March 9th.
