GETTYSBURG, PA -- Third-ranked host Gettysburg College held fifth-ranked Washington College scoreless for the first 26:21 of the game en route to a 12-5 win over the Shoremen in an NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse Tournament quarterfinal game this afternoon on Shirk Field at Musselman Stadium. Generazio netted a behind-the-back goal off an assist from senior attackman Kolyn Kirby (Chestertown, MD/Kent County) with 23 seconds remaining in the quarter to get the Shoremen back within six at 9-3, but Trip Dyer scored off a feed from O'Donnell with just under seven seconds left in the period to give Gettysburg a 10-3 lead heading into the fourth quarter.

McGrath's third goal of the game opened the fourth quarter scoring with 11:58 left in the game to make it 11-3. Sufrin rounded out the Gettysburg scoring with a goal off an assist from Brody with 3:50 to go in the contest.
