WC Men's Lacrosse Announces 2008 Captains

CHESTERTOWN, MD -- Senior defenseman Sean Rapelyea (Cookeville, TN/Mt. Hebron), senior attackman Mike Sutter (Ellicott City, MD/Mount St. Joseph), senior attackman Chris Read (Baltimore, MD/Boys Latin), and junior goalie Gordon Cohen (New Canaan, CT/New Canaan) have been named the captains of the 2008 Washington College men's lacrosse team.

Read is a two-time All-American honorable mention and two time All-Centennial Conference first team honoree. He led the Shoremen in goals (31) and points (51) and tied for the team lead in assists (20) in 2007. Sutter scored four goals and assisted on eight others in 2007, while Rapelyea appeared in three games. Cohen posted a goals-against average of 7.11 and a save percentage of .611 in 2007, his first year as a starter.
