2008 LANCASTER, PA - Washington College sophomore Matt Boucher (Alexandria, VA/Bishop Ireton) has been named All-Centennial Conference Honorable Mention for baseball in a vote conducted by the conference's coaches. This is Boucher's first time that he has been selected all-conference. Boucher, a third baseman, hit .373 for the Shoremen this year and led the team in RBI (24), doubles (7), and tied for the team lead in total bases (50). He was second on the team in hits (41), runs (16) and slugging percentage (.455). Boucher went 4-for-6 with five RBI and three runs scored in a 22-5 win over Old Westbury on March 14. He had a 15-game hitting streak from March 29-April 26. |
