Carrie Kerr, a 2002 graduate of Shippensburg with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in coaching, is in her second stint at Washington College, this time as associate athletic trainer.
After leaving Shippensburg, Kerr spent the 2002-03 academic year at Colgate University in Hamilton, NY as an intern. Following her one year in Central New York, she arrived at Washington College where she spent two years as an assistant athletic trainer, earning her M.A. in Psychology in 2005.
She was an assistant athletic trainer at Franklin & Marshall from 2005-08. She was the head athletic trainer for the wrestling program at F&M. Kerr also worked with field hockey, men's and women's cross country, softball and men's and women's track and field. She was also a Student Athlete Advisory Committe advisor and education coordinator.
Kerr is also certified to instruct First Aid and CPR. She is married to former Washington College All-American men's lacrosse player Tim Kerr '06, who is currently teaching at Kent Island High School and coaching varsity boys lacrosse and junior varsity boys soccer.
