CHESTERTOWN, MD -- Spring break is the busiest week of the year for Washington College athletic teams and WashingtonCollegeSports.com and Goose Nation TV will have wall-to-wall in-progress coverage all week long.
Our Athletics Communications team of Director Phil Ticknor, Assistant Director Jason Bryden, and Broadcaster Conner Fleegle will bring you live video and live stats coverage of the home men's lacrosse games tomorrow, Tuesday, and Thursday and of tomorrow's home women's lacrosse game. The women's lacrosse coverage continues Thursday as Ticknor will be in Clermont, FL, to provide live stats of the women's lacrosse game against Wheaton at the National Training Center.
Our live baseball and softball coverage from the Sunshine State will be possible thanks to assists from two of our alumni - Liz Carbone '12 and Nina Burton '06. Carbone will be with the baseball team all week at the RussMatt Baseball Central Florida Invitational and will be providing live stats for eight of the team's nine games there. (Mount Union, the Shoremen's opponent on Thursday, will be providing live stats and a live audio broadcast for that game.) Burton will be with the softball team all week at the Rebel Spring Games and will be providing live stats for nine of the team's 10 games there. (Bridgewater, one of the Shorewomen's opponents on Thursday, will be providing live stats and a live audio broadcast for that game.)
The sailing team will be hosting the Washington College Team Race this Saturday and Sunday and will compete at Navy's Truxtun Umsted next weekend. Both regattas will have in-progress results posted on TechScore.
While there will be no in-progress coverage of the men's and women's tennis matches at Virginia Wesleyan and Christopher Newport Monday and Tuesday, respectively, results and recaps will be posted as soon as possible.
